Water Quality can be among the most challenging aspects of the design and construction process to understand and adapt to for developers, designers, regulators, and contractors, alike. Every jurisdiction is subject to the compliance requirements of Section 404 of the US Clean Water Act, the EPA, their respective state's environmental protection services, regional soil commissions, and Local Issuing Authorities (LIAs). Every LIA has the legal authority to be even more stringent than any of the authorities above them, making these waters even more murky.

Having managed daily operations of a LIA, assisting in the authoring of some of current local and Federal MS4 permits, and Storm Water and Water Quality Ordinances, as well as our experience in the compliance/enforcement realm means our understanding is cutting edge and right on hand, when you need it.
